When should I make a reservation for tuxedo rentals?
After registering, the next step is making the reservation for your tuxedo(s).
For weddings, as soon as you have your wedding date secured and you know your color scheme. Most bride's and groom's register their wedding between 4 to 12 months before their wedding date.
For proms, as soon as she says "YES! I'll go to the prom with you"... that's when it's your next move! Proms typically occur during busy wedding season so we strongly recommend that you come in as soon as possible for the best service, styles and selection.
For single orders, r eserve your tux as soon as possible, for the best selection. We recommended, no later than two weeks before the use date.
When should I be fitted for my tuxedo?
The next step is to be professionally measured and fitted for your formalwear. For weddings, we recommend your fitting be done at least one month in advance, however, if the wedding is during our peak season April / May / June, fittings should be done by the end of March. It is important all members of your wedding party be fitted for their tuxedos in a timely manner so that your order is not delayed due to a wedding party member that has not been fitted. For single orders, it is best to be fitted just as soon as possible.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Once a reservation has been placed there is a $25.00 cancellation fee.
How much deposit do I have to put down on my order?
To register your wedding/event there is a $20 Registration Fee. To place your Reservation order a down payment of $25. is required.

Most of my wedding party is from out-of-town, how would you handle getting their measurements?
We provide you with Measurement Cards for your out-of-town wedding party members. You can also download our Online Measurement Form which your wedding party members can take to their local SAVVI affilate store, if none is available in their area, then they can visit their nearest tuxedo/tailor/men's shop for a courtesy measurement.

then send it to us via FAX, or call them in to us or bring into a SAVVI store affliate.
Their order will be ready as early as two days in advance of your wedding date. Upon pick-up of their order, if they should need any adjustments or alterations we can generally take care of it the same day, or in some cases it will be ready the next day.
What does "Black Tie" mean on an invitation?
It means that the required attire is formalwear, usually black in color although charcoal gray and midnight blue are also acceptable. The tuxedo is worn with a formal shirt, tie, vest or cummerbund and formal shoes. The tie does not have to be black, but rather the color selection can be anything that is tasteful and elegant. Our formal fashion experts can help you look your best.
What does "White Tie" mean on an invitation?
You are in luck, you have been invited to an event that will showcase the ultimate in formalwear. A "White Tie" tuxedo is a black tailcoat worn with a white vest and white bow tie |
Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Yes, you may change your order at any time up until it has gone into production. Production begins 10 days before the event use date. Change made within 10 days of the use date are subject to change fees.
When will my tuxedo arrive so I can pick it up?
Your tuxedo order will be ready for pick-up 2 days before the event use date. We recommend that you allow extra time to try-on your tuxedo when you pick it up.
If you need to make an exchange, our large inventory maintained at our local warehouse will be able to accommodate your last minute needs.
When must I return my tuxedo rental?
The next day, we are open Sundays.

Are there any fashion guidelines concerning proper etiquette in formal attire?
The answer is yes, but far less than in the past. Never should "White Tie" be worn before 6:00 PM and never wear a Cutaway or Stroller other than for a wedding and never after 6:00 PM .
What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted, as well as, Debit Cards which bear the Visa or Mastercard logo. We also accept personal checks with proper identification and, of course, we accept cash.
